DAY WISE ITINERARY

 

Day 1:

 

Arrive Kathmandu by AI 211 at 2035 Hrs.
Meet and greet on arrival at Katmandu Airport by our Representative.
Transfer to Hotel and Check in at hotel.
Welcome drink and refreshment.
Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel

Day 2:

Kathmandu Full Day Sightseeing-(Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Jal Narayan Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square)
Breakfast at hotel.
Pashupatinath: The holiest of holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from all over the
sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be
viewed from across the river.
Bouddhanath:
Probably the largest stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley-the great stupa of Bouddhanath. Again, the
omni-sighted eyes of the Buddha stare all the directions. This Stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists
predominantly.

Jal Narayan Temple: Jal Narayan Temple is also known as sleeping Vishnu temple. The temple is located at the foot
of Shivpuri Hills. Tourists popularly call this temple by the name of Budha Neelkanth Temple.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
So far as art and architecture are concerned, you need to look no further. This complex of places, courtyards and
temples was built between the 12th and 18th century. Durbar Square protected by UNESCO as the world heritage
site in the social, religious, and urban focal point of the city.

Day 3:

Kathmandu Sightseeing (Swayambhu Nath, Chandragiri hills, Garden of Dream and Thamel)

Swayambhu Nath

It is situated in the west of Kathmandu city on the top of the hill. The huge Stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites
in Nepal and is listed as a world heritage site.
Chandragiri hills:
Chandragiri hills also called Baleshwar Mahadev. Located at an altitude of 2551meters above sea level. It is
dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is connected to the Kathmandu valley by a cable car.
Afternoon Lunch at Kaiser Café, Inside Garden of Dreams
Garden of Dreams:
The Garden of Dreams located in Kaiser Mahal which is across the street from the former Royal Palace at the
entrance of the Thamel tourist area, the Garden was made famous as the Garden of Six Seasons, is a neo-classical
garden in kaiser Mahal Kathmandu, built in 1920.
Thamel: Thamel has been the centre of the tourist industry in Kathmandu for over four decades, starting from hippie
days, when many artists came to Nepal and spent weeks in Thamel.

Day 4:

Fly to Pokhara and Pokhara Sightseeing

From Kathmandu fly to Pokhara, departure by flight YT 675 departs at 0920 hrs Arrive in Pokhara at 0945hrs.
On arrival Check in hotel at Pokhara,
Later you will proceed for sightseeing at Pokhara.
(Gupteshwar Mahadev, David’s Fall, Barahi temple and Fewa Lake).
Gupteshwar Mahadev: Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave lies in the southern end of the city; it is just 2 Km from Central
Pokhara. The entrance is right across from Devi's fall and the cave is nearly 3 km long. The cave has got both the
narrow and wide spaces inside it. One can have an astonishing view of Devi s fall from inside the cave except in rainy
seasons. The cave is provided with artificial lighting systems. The cave is also an important religious site for Hindus.
Devi's fall: Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's fall), Devi s fall is one of the major tourist destinations in
Pokhara. It is just 2 km away from Central Pokhara. It is an awesome waterfall, and you can’t stop yourself saying
WOW. Devi s fall plunges into a cave and disappears into the earth. In the monsoon, the sight is most spectacular.
Legend has it that the name was put in the memory of a tourist named David who was swept down the waterfall.
This fall is also known as Davy's fall, David's fall or Davis's fall, meaning the same waterfall.

Barahi Temple: Lying in the island of the middle of the Fewa Lake, the Barahi temple is the most important
monument in Pokhara. This two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of' Ajima, representative of
the force of Goddess Durga. Barahi is pictured with the face of a boar with a cup in one hand and fish in the other.
Devotees can be seen carrying male animals across the lake for sacrifice, especially on Saturdays. Set in stunning
surroundings, many find Barahi Temple a peaceful place to relax as one can enjoy the green forest scenery just
beyond the south end of the lake, full-scale scenery of the lake and amazing reflection of the Annapurna and Fishtail
Mountains on the surface of the lake.
Fewa Lake: The second largest lake in the country covering an area of about 4.43 km2 (1.7 sq. mi) is the centre of
attraction for every person visiting Pokhara. It is the largest among the eight lakes lying in Pokhara. One can sail or
row a hired boat across the lake or visit Barahi Temple situated on the island located in the lake. The lake is ideal for
relaxation, boating and viewing the mountains as well. One can also fish in the lake but be sure that you are fishing
at the right place. Reflection of Macchapuchre (Mount Fishtail) in the lake makes you feel more exciting.

Day 5: 

Drive from Pokhara to Jomsom (158.7 Km and 5 Hours and 37 Minutes’ Drive approximately)

Drive towards Jomsom. The drive from Pokhara to Jomsom is a captivating journey through Nepal's Annapurna
region, starting from Pokhara's serene lakes and proceeding through picturesque villages like Ghasa, Marpha, and
Tukuche, where apple orchards and Tibetan culture dot the landscape. The road follows the Kali Gandaki River,
offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri mountains.

Day 6:

 
Jomsom- Mukthinath Darshan- Pokhara by Jeep (174.5 Km and 6 Hours 12 Minutes’ Drive approximately)

In the early morning, we head to Muktinath Temple for a sacred Darshan, significant in Hinduism as the place where
Lord Vishnu attained liberation, or "moksha." After the Puja and Darshan, we enjoy breakfast at Hotel De Purang and
start our return to Pokhara, driving alongside the Kaligandaki River and Enroute stop for lunch at either Kalo Pani or
Tato Pani, known for its natural hot springs.

Day 8:


Fly to Kathmandu and Drive to Nagarkot 31 Km 1 hour.

After Breakfast check out from hotel fly to Kathmandu.
Departure by flight YT 572 departs at 1115 hrs arrives at Kathmandu at 1140 hrs.
Lunch at Opium restaurant at Kathmandu then drive to Nagarkot on the way Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Squar
Bhaktapur Durbar Square (Bhadgaon).
This is also the city of art and architecture. The 12th century palace of 55 windows, situated to the left as you enter
through the city gate, inspires admiration. The entrance to the palace, the golden gate is a masterpiece in repossess
art. After visit continue to drive to Nagarkot (altitude 2,175 mtrs) is by far the most popular. Located 30 kms east of
Kathmandu, Nagarkot has developed into a favorite weekend gateway among those seeking mountain views in
comfort and quiet. At sunrise, the Himalayan range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest for Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe-inspiring majesty
