DAY WISE ITINERARY

 

Day 1:

 

Arrival Istanbul Airport
Upon your arrival to Istanbul, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in old city.
Check in at hotel.
A welcome package with tour vouchers, an Istanbul map, and any other touristic information will be waiting for you
upon arrival at your hotel. Free time is given for the rest of the day.
Tonight, we will have our dinner in Taksim Square at Indian Restaurant.

Day 2:

Istanbul Old city
Breakfast at Hotel
0900hrs Proceed for full day guided tour.
Visit to Hagia Sophia Museum, one of the historical architectural wonders that still remains standing today, has an
important place in the art world with its architecture, grandness, size and functionality. The Hagia Sophia, the
biggest church constructed by the East Roman Empire in Istanbul, has been constructed three times in the same
location. When it was first built, it was named Megale Ekklesia (Big Church); however, after the fifth century, it was
referred to as the Hagia Sophia (Holy Wisdom). The church was the place in which rulers were crowned, and it was
also the biggest operational cathedral in the city throughout the Byzantine period.

Visit to Blue Mosque
Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, across from St. Sophia, is known as the Blue Mosque because of blue tiles
surrounding the walls of interior design. Blue Mosque was built in 16th century by architect Mehmet, during the rule
of Ahmed I. Its Külliye contains Ahmed's tomb, a madrasah and a hospice. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is one of the
three mosques in Turkey that has six minarets.
Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the largest covered markets in the world. In this labyrinth there are 60 streets and
4,000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts,
such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and
meerschaum pipes
Visit to Topkapi Palace was one of the major residences of the Ottoman sultans for almost 400 years (1465–1856) of
their 624-year reign. As well as a royal residence, the palace was a setting for state occasions and royal
entertainments. It is now a museum and as such a major tourist attraction. It also contains exquisite collection of
crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial
Treasury, miniatures and important relics of the Muslim world, including Muhammed's cloak and sword. The Topkapı
Palace is among the monuments contained within the "Historic Areas of Istanbul", which became a UNESCO World
Heritage Site in 1985

Day 3:

Bosphorus Cruise – Istanbul - Flight to Cappadocia
Breakfast at Hotel
Check out and we will visit the Spice Market, where locals still shop for herbs and spices from all over the world.
Then, embark on a cruise along the Bosphorus, the unique winding strait separating two continents.
Lunch at Indian restaurant. After Lunch transfer to the airport with your private vehicle and driver. You will take a direct flight from Istanbul to Cappadoccia, which is about 1 hour. Upon arrival, you will meet with your private vehicle and driver and be
transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia and check in.
The rest of the day is free time to explore at your leisure.

Day 4:

Breakfast at hotel
We will visit Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), spectacular fairy chimneys and beautiful scapes. After Devrent
valley, we will visit Pasabag (known as monk valley) were double and triple headed rock formation. Lunch at Avanos,
famous for pottery and Redriver (Kızılırmak). After lunch, you will visit open air museum which is in the heart of
Cappadocia. Open air museum famous for wall painting, dates back to 10th century describing the life of Jesus
Christand monks. The last stop will be Uchisar castle, natural and one of the biggest mass fairy chimney of the
region.

Day 5: 

Cappadocia to Antalya via Konya
Breakfast at Hotel
Check out from hotel and we drive to Pamukkale via passing through Konya city and visit Mevlana museum.

After Lunch we drive to Antalya and check in to our hotel

Day 6:


Antalya City Tour – Pamukkale
Breakfast at hotel
Check out and depart from hotel for Full-Day city tour and drive to Karpuz Kaldıran Waterfalls the place where the
falls meet the sea and have a photo break in Konyaalti beach. Our next stop will be in Kaleiçi. And then visit to old
town with the gate of Hadrian, the Clock Tower, Fluted Minaret, Palm Street and the ancient harbor. There are many
beautiful old houses in Kaleiçi. Drive to Kursunlu Waterfalls and free time.

After the tour drive to Pamukkale hotel for check in

Day 7:


Pamukkale Hierapolis Ancient City – Flight to Istanbul
Breakfast at hotel
Check out and the first visit will be to Hierapolis, the ancient Greco-Roman city on top of hot springs. You will see the
large necropolis, Great Baths, Frontinus Street, Theatre, Martyrion of St. Phillip, and the antique pool also known as
Cleopatra’s pool. Finally be amazed by travertines, (the terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water) on
which you can enjoy a barefooted walk.

Transfer to Pamukkale airport and take flight to Istanbul.
Arrival to Istanbul Airport, Transfer to hotel for check in

Day 8:


Istanbul – Departure
Breakfast at Hotel
Check out from hotel.
Lunch at Indian restaurant
Transfer to Istanbul airport to board flight to Bangalore.

Passport holders, holding valid Schengen, USA, UK and Ireland Visa or residence permit June get their single-entry E-
Visas valid for one month.

These guests tour costs will be reduced by INR. 15,000/- per guest.

Meals:


In Istanbul and Cappadocia meals will be provided at Indian restaurants. We are pre booking at Indian restaurant and
meals will be on menu by the chef basis and there is a possibility that similar dishes June be provided in multiple
meals.

Traffic in Istanbul:


It is difficult to estimate travelling time between different points in Istanbul and as such guests June experience
delayed transfers to airport, airport to hotel, transfer to tours and transfers to restaurants as well as other places.
Most of the places in Istanbul vehicle parking is not allowed/available and as such while on this tour our guests June
experience waiting time for all tours and transfers.

Tours/Attractions:


Our crew/tour guide at destination June change the itinerary and the tours/attractions listed June be visited on same
day as listed in the itinerary or there is also a possibility that visit on tours/attractions June interchange on few days.
